During the construction phase, George was always there when we needed assistance and saw to it that we meet with each subcontractor. It was greatly appreciated. Janet was super both during the building stage handling the required paperwork and especially wonderful handling the small problems that arose after we moved in. She was on top of every problem and made sure they were corrected to our satisfaction. You are one luck employer to have employees of this caliber working for you. In the three years we've known you and your remarkable organization, Phyllis and I have come to sincerely appreciate the efforts you take to produce a quality product while attending to the satisfaction expectations of your home buyers. This has been our experience with you from the start of the design of our home through the present ... two years after our purchase and three years since we first met! I am sincere when I say, Phyllis and I are happy to have had you as our builder. Our home has proven to be a quality home. Certainly, there were issues both during and after construction, but each one has been addressed and resolved expediently and to our satisfaction. I am quite certain this is by no accident; it is due to the way you've chosen to run your business. You have a good plan. Even with good management and a good plan, success is almost always found riding on the shoulders of the people employed to carry the burden. In this capacity, I congratulate you on your employment of Mr. George Ledger. He has consistently proven to be proactive, responsive and professional in the address and resolution of the issues we presented to him. Certainly, one of his finer traits rests in his ability to convey the mutuality of our sometimes conflicting interests; it is obvious he contemplates the nature of each issue while assessing the responsibility and feasibility of your organization to meet to our request. Please stay in touch, Roy, I wanted to take a moment to thank you as we wind down the punch list to one last item. As you indicated when we met to discuss the changes near the closing in January, you were proceeding to hire a customer service representative. Kathy has mentioned on numerous occasions the George has been very responsive and courteous in addressing our repair items. I have seen that this has brought a huge value to us as homeowners as it became clear that George and yourself were busy in the building process. I have had many friends drop by to visit us, or have had associates at work that are contemplating a possible house purchase. I have and will continue to speak highly of the quality of the home you build, and of you as a builder who has a customer service rep working with the customer on quickly resolving repair issues. This is a huge concern by home buyers. One last item, George is trying to get the cleanup crew to pickup the trash in the lot next to us. I know this is not your lot but this was trash from our homebuilding that was shoved over by the grader right before closing. It is becoming more of a problem in recent days. I witnessed a contractor, who was working across the street, get out of his truck and place a pallet in the pile when he could have easily place the pallet in the trash bin at the house he was working! As you have been fair with us throughout this process, I trust this item will be completed. More importantly, if you ever need a homeowner reference, feel free to use me.
